A Love Story That Started in the Arts

Annie and Kendall’s story began at an art fundraiser in New York City. While Annie didn’t initially catch on to Kendall’s interest, fate brought them together again months later in Baltimore, MD—and that’s where the sparks truly flew. Their love story is full of charm, creativity, and serendipity—just like their wedding day.

Kendall’s proposal was straight out of a romance novel: under the stars in Old San Juan, while on a Royal Caribbean cruise. It was a surprise moment that set the stage for a wedding filled with sentiment and sparkle.

Choosing the Perfect Wedding Venue in Hagerstown, MD

The couple fell in love with The Maryland Theatre after attending a local wedding expo held at the historic venue. The venue’s elegant design and rich history provided the perfect backdrop for their classic-meets-glam vision. Hosting both the ceremony and reception in the same iconic venue made for a seamless, stylish celebration.

Designing the Day: Disco Dreams & Sparkling Touches

As Annie and Kendall’s full-service wedding planner, I had the honor of helping them turn their vision into reality—from choosing vendors to fine-tuning the decor. One of the bride’s top design goals was incorporating disco balls in a way that felt sophisticated, not over-the-top. We used sparkle strategically—pairing silver accents with white florals and soft powder blue details—to strike the perfect balance of elegance and fun.

The color palette (white, silver, and powder blue) was inspired by a set of bridesmaid dresses that Annie fell in love with mid-planning. It was a pivot from the original lavender plan, but it couldn’t have been more perfect.

The Fashion: Statement Looks with Classic Flair

Annie was a vision in a white, off-the-shoulder ballgown with shimmering detail and a sparkling tiara fit for a queen. Kendall looked equally dapper in a navy blue tux, setting the tone for a fashion-forward celebration. Their wedding party followed suit in powder blue gowns and gray suits with blue accents, creating a coordinated, polished look that popped on camera.

Music, Memories & Magic Moments

Music was everything to this couple. Their playlist featured the best of the '90s and early 2000s, keeping the energy high and the dance floor packed. DJ GMoney Entertainment knew exactly how to set the vibe. From the bridal party’s epic reception entrance to the bridesmaids' infectious hype-girl energy, the party was on from the start.

A standout emotional moment? Kendall’s father officiating the ceremony. His words added a layer of intimacy and love that moved every guest in the room (myself included!).
