Meet Your Event Planner

Hello friends!

I’m Katy. I’m the face behind Wand and Bash Event Planning. I am here to guide you on your journey down the aisle. I am your to-do list manager, schedule keeper, hype girl, and bonus bridesmaid. I will be your unbiased sounding board and confidant. I am a romantic with an imaginative mind and a huge heart. If you couldn’t already tell, I’m a HUGE Disney nerd. I’m also a Switfie, a lover of all things sparkly and pink. I was born and raised in WV, but I also call MD my home. When not planning weddings, I’m cuddling with my husband and our cat, Max. 

I’ve been planning events for over a decade. I love the event planning process and adding personal touches that make the event uniquely you. I've worked on all kinds of events, both big and small. Starting Wand & Bash has been a dream in the works for years, and I'm so pumped to bring my whimsical, colorful style to your event. I will be your fairy godmother throughout the planning process and bring magic to your day by creating a unique personal experience.

  • In 2014, I worked for Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL.

  • I’m a habitual coffee drinker, hot or iced, gotta have it! I also collect coffee mugs.

  • I love musicals. My favorite shows are Waitress, Wicked, Rent, and Hamilton.

  • I love a good true crime documentary or podcast.
