I hired Katy as a day-of coordinator to ensure other vendors had a point of contact and that things moved smoothly without my family or me feeling responsible for the schedule. On the day of, our schedule almost immediately got mucked up by delayed vendors. Katy took charge, somehow smoothed it out, and kept the schedule shifts from becoming my problem or affecting my enjoyment of the day…She spotted and fixed many issues on the fly. We had a lot of moving parts that would have been a pain for me to oversee on the big day, and I wouldn’t want to put that responsibility on any of my guests. “Katy was our coordinator for our May wedding and also helped us partially plan the big day! She was the first vendor we hired, and we had a blast working with her for just about 2 years. She listened to all our crazy ideas with grace and professionalism and helped us pull off a large wedding (~180 guests, and a bridal party of around 20 people) at a private property (NOT an established venue) with a HUGE bridal party, a ton of different vendors (including two live bands and a bouncy castle), and a complete circus of family and friends helping to set up.
